Welcome! This site contains information for anyone interested in bonsai's. My husband and I started working with bonsai's about 5 years ago. We started picking dead roots and bringing them home and trying to bring life back to them. From there we started a business in Stuart, Florida in July of 2000. Peter and Melinda laobonsai@hotmail.com History of the Bonsai The bonsai is a forest tree that looks old though it may be only 2 inches tall, Bonsai's were practiced in Japan and China, Bonsai is the reproduction of a miniature tree. Bonsai's are beautiful and keep thier size as the years go on.

Caring for Bonsai's Caring for the bonsai's can be a lot of work, but watering is on eof the important part of owning a bonsai. Bonsai's should be watered thoroughly almost every day, even in humid weather. If the bonsai is wilted, the leaves should be sprayed before the roots are watered.
